MaYa's AnGeLou's EleMents..

its no longer news that Maya Angelou passed on this week at 86. The poet, Director, and Activist who was born in 1928 has left an indelible impact on the world that may take some time for most people to come to terms with.
I came across this video below that really portrays Maya Angelou in her elements as a very self confident and wise individual. From her activism with Martin Lutherking to her time with Malcolm X, This woman directly played her part in the restoration of the Black voice.

Rest in Peace Maya Angelou.

zARa gREtti !!!

The world only saw a glimpse of the gift God put in you. Words cannot express the heaviness in my heart. Memories of the voicenotes and BBM chats only linger more now that you are gone. We could do absolutely nothing to help your pain. We prayed, we hoped but it wasn't enough. I pray for God's comfort for your family. It feels even more Sad now remembering that we first met through HCODE...

46664 a diFFeReNt kiNd oF LeGeNd!

Alas Mandiba has left us. For a time in my life I wondered how the world would respond to the death of both Michael Jackson & Mandela. Now we know!

Never in the history of the world has there ever been a man highly respected practically respected by people across the world even his enemies.
The only true legend to live long enough to enjoy tributes made to him: from having to spend the SA Rand with his face on it to witnessing various Holywood  tributes. No man comes close to his selflessness. RIP Mandiba.
