MaYa's AnGeLou's EleMents..
its no longer news that Maya Angelou passed on this week at 86. The poet, Director, and Activist who was born in 1928 has left an indelible impact on the world that may take some time for most people to come to terms with.
I came across this video below that really portrays Maya Angelou in her elements as a very self confident and wise individual. From her activism with Martin Lutherking to her time with Malcolm X, This woman directly played her part in the restoration of the Black voice.
Rest in Peace Maya Angelou.
