Oleku: was the video worth the wait?

You may recall that a few weeks ago this video was leaked online and later taken down on the request of chocolate city. As at the time of this post i must have seen this music video about 4 times to form an objective opinion.
The video which was directed by mex of Pixel Chaos makes me wonder if this director would ever settle for more live shots. In my honest opinion i think the music video was more about graphic effects and transitions than story telling. Granted Oleku is simply a feel good song but this video kind of dampens the hype of this hit track.
This video in my final opinion does not do the song enough justice at least not as much as the safe video did Safe by M.I justice. but then again its just my opinion...

10 Nigerian artistes to watch out for in 2010

2010 the magical year for Nigerian Music. Something huge is about to happen. For one i am pretty sure that the grammy committee would listen to at least one of these artistes, not just 'cos 2 of them have the US in them but 'cos they are fabulous. I also added a hot list of smoking producers that will dominate 2010. Trust me this is more than my opinion. More so most of them have been underground for way too long ...but lets just call them Rookies. They all drop albums in 2010 hopefully.

The Album Djinee

leave all this crazy talk about empty swagger, Djinee has got his R&B street cred if there is is anything like that. The former soundcity veejay overkilled it on his latest delivery: 'The Album Djinee'.
I have bumped all the tracks on the album for some time now and belive me i am a satisfied customer.

The beauty of this Album does not just lie in the maestro ability of djinee but the production genius of M.I and his younger brother Jesse Jagz and between them they produced 8 tracks on the Djinee Album. What amazes me the most is the fact that its a rare feat to have professional rappers play keyboards/pianos, save for pips like Kanye West...

Then there is the touch of the Production King himself: Cobhams Asuquo who produced 4 of the tracks on the Album. Do i need to give you anymore reason to buy the album?
If you were to define a good album or musical production, how would you do that? As for me i would just define that in one word: DJINEE.

my personal favourite is the Overkillin it remix ft. Iceprince, Jesse Jagz and M.I the track was wicked and had some ill Rhymes.
